Conical log splitter KHS 50 2-speed

The ideal attachments for the efficient and safe shredding of tree trunks and tree roots. 

The main applications are pre-splitting for feeding chipping plants as well as the splitting of logs for lumber drying. The diameter of the logs is irrelevant. 

Due to the special motor, it is possible that it will initially start rotating at high speed and lower torque. As soon as the taper has drilled itself into the wood and the torque or force is no longer sufficient, the valve switches automatically at approx. 180 bar and the engine continues to rotate with less speed but with more torque. This means that the splitting drive has more power and work can continue without problems.As soon as the motor requires less power again, it automatically switches back to the starting position. 

• Softwood and hardwood logs can be split. 

• Problem-free splitting of wood that is particularly difficult to split (e.g. poplars). 

• Preferably excavators from 3 t to 10 t are used as supporting devices. 

• Greatest economic efficiency due to minimum maintenance costs. 

• A tip damaged by coming into contact with ground that is too hard is easy to replace.
